Programming
1 on 1 Support
Our Settlement Coordinators can work 1 on 1 with LGBTQI+ Newcomers to set goals, assist with systems navigation and accessing local services and supports, and make connections with the community.
If you are a 2SLGBTQIA+ refugee or newcomer looking for more support with finding housing, accessing employment or education, navigating the health care system, or just need someone to talk to, reach out to info@rrans.com to set up an intake appointment.
RRANS Community Hang Outs
Every second Thursday, from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, come hang out with RRANS community members, including LGBTQI+ newcomers, volunteers and staff members. Free coffee/tea and snacks will be served, and you will be able to connect with and meet new people.
Open to all 2SLGBTQIA+ Newcomers.
Contact info@rrans.com to get info about upcoming dates and location for these hangouts.
Pottery Program
From February - October, RRANS is hosting a weekly pottery program, where LGBTQI+ newcomers can learn and make their own pottery, engage with different art styles, meet and make connections with new community members, and practice English speaking skills.
Currently, this program is full, but if you want to be put on a waitlist, email info@rrans.com.
Stay tuned for an exhibit showing the work of this pottery group in October 2024.
